When is Rosh Hashanah in 2012?

Rosh Hashanah is known as Jewish New Year . It is one of the Jewish tradition's holiest days, It falls once a year during the month of Tishrei and occurs ten days before Yom Kippur. Rosh HaShanah literally means "Head of the Year" in Hebrew. It falls in the month of Tishrei, which is the seventh month on the Hebrew calendar.

Rosh HaShanah in 2012 will start on Monday, the 17th of September and will continue for 2 days until Tuesday, the 18th of September.
