Teacher Appreciation Week is the first full week of May of each and every year. This is a week long celebration that we parents and administrators need to take a moment to thank teachers for teaching our children and catering to their educational needs.
The teachers you thank may be preschool teachers, middle school teachers, kindergarten teachers, elementary school teachers, or high school teachers. Students often demonstrate appreciation for their teachers with greeting cards, coffee mugs, school supplies, cake, candies, gifts, and other small tokens. These items are all acceptable gifts for your teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week. Teacher Appreciation Week 2012 Celebrated Today - If there is a mother's day, there is also a teacher's day. Teachers are like second mothers to us. Because they take care of us whenever we are at school. They teach us good Morals and basically everything else that we know. And today is the day that we can share our thanks to the teachers that we all had.
It's not just a day of celebration, but is Teacher Appreciation Week 2012. Teachers from grade school, high School, College, or master's degree, it doesn't matter as long as he or she is your teacher.
2012 Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher Appreciation Week is celebrated in the first full week of May and Teacher Appreciation Day is celebrated the first Tuesday in May. For 2012, National Teacher's Day will fall on May 8th, and the full week of appreciation will be May 7-11, 2012. Of course, any day is a great day to say thank you to a teacher. Teacher appreciation week is not only a way for students to celebrate their teachers but also for people to learn more about teaching as a profession and its merits worldwide since teaching is done differently in each country.
Teacher appreciation week is the great time in the year to take a moment to show your appreciation to teachers for all the effort they put in each day to teach and for the education that we receive thanks to them. Teacher appreciation week 2012 will comprise lots of fun events and activities and it is a great opportunity to increase interaction between teachers and students.
