Holi is one of the major festivals of India and is celebrated with grand splendor and show around the country. It is a festival, which spread the message of love, trust and brotherhood. The central day, Holi, also known as Dhulheti, Dhulandi or Dhulendi, is celebrated by people throwing colored powder and colored water at every one. Bonfires are lit the previous day, also recognized as Holika Dahan (burning of Holika) or Chhoti Holi (little Holi).
