Baisakhi has celebrated especially in state in Punjab in north region of India. People go to the temple of their Sikh guru Gobind Singh with their family and pray for them and their family for health and prosperity.

Baisakhi also called Vaisakhi is the annual festival of the New Year in the Punjab and it marks the beginning of their harvest season. Baisakhi celebration is not only all about festivities and enthusiasm, it also got very clear-headed religious connotation to it. It has on this day the 10th Guru of Sikhs Guru Gobind Singh organized all Sikhs into Khalsa. The Vaisakhi Baisakhi 2014 will be fall on 14th April.
