Children have always been the apprehension of the society. The progress of children has been supposed in terms of care for the health, education and emotional and social happiness. Laws and policies have been performed to protect the needs of children as well as to guarantee that their right are fulfilled.
As a result of International Labour Organization, there are 1.2 million children living away from home and family with other people to work in all over the world. Anti Child Labour Day has celebrated on 12th June every year. There are two thirds of all children, not going to school are girl. They perform work very hard. Child labour is not just an issue of poverty. Separately from the income of the family other issues play a vital role in the decision of parents to send their children to school or to works.
The prohibiting of child labour has interlinked with the condition of full time and provides quality education free of all. During the Industrial revolution it has possible to eliminate child labour due to combined permission of prohibiting child labour and implementing regular education. This step can help to develop country. Governments are responsible for the educational systems and they should take up this job. It is not important to give quality education to children already in school.
It is important that program for basic education in developing countries include a strategy that is mainstreaming working, full time education. As long as the society has accepted that children work instead of going to school, child labour and low school contribution will not be eliminated.
