Black Friday, an memorable day for shoppers primarily in the USA and Canada. It falls on after the Thanksgiving Day, which usually falls on Thursday. On this day, retailers are going to open their stores very early like 4 am in the morning in order to kick of the promotional sales.
 
In these days, organized retailers like Wal-Mart, Carrefour and many other are making shopping experience into an absolute pleasure. Nobody wish to spend more these days. Keeping that in mind, all the leading retailers are giving some huge discounts on a special day in order the sales. Black Friday is a biggest shopping day and many employers are giving a holiday on that day to their employees. Black Friday shopping starts very early in the morning like at 4 am and continued till the late night up to 2 am Saturday morning.

Historically, the Black Friday shopping extravaganza continues throughout the week and it is more popular than Christmas sales season. This practice is very popular in the USA and Canada but now, this has gone to many Western countries like the UK and Australia by major online retailers.

In the nineteenth century, the term Black Friday has been used on different contexts. It was first used to describe the financial crisis in the USA but later on, it was declared "Black Friday", a day after the Thanksgiving Day in 1966 in Philadelphia. Due to the growing demand of mass shopping, this day has got a greater importance in these times. Even if, this is not a holiday but many employers are giving a day off in order to let their employees participate in this shopping extravaganza. Shopping for our household chores is like a daily activity in our routine life thus, the need of a day like this is unavoidable. Black Friday falls on the month of November of every month after the fourth Thursday, which is known as Thanksgiving Day.
